Background

After a career as a dancer, choreographer, rehearsal director, dance teacher and college/university lecturer, Suzannah McCreight decided to establish Green Light Dance Company to help her own dance work and that of associated artists to flourish. After working as an independent artist in Northern Ireland for over 15 years and in England prior to that, Suzannah brings her expertise to this new Belfast-based venture that seeks to develop not only her choreography but offer opportunities to individual artists to develop professionally and get the support of a company for projects that might not otherwise be possible. Promoting the appreciation of and engagement with contemporary dance in the wider community runs hand in hand with supporting artists.
